Room was clean. Mosquitoes were out of control but being on the little lake, there isn't a lot that can stop that. Restaurant food left much to be desired. That being said, if I was in that area again (heaven forbid), I would stay there again.
I'd totally recommend staying at Lakeside if you ever find yourself in the tiny, adorable farming community of Christmas Village.
Food wasn't very good. Service also was not good, had to keep calling to the waitress
They were so friendly and accommodating. The rooms are a bit dated, but they have a homey, comfortable feel to them. The rooms and bathrooms were clean, and the beds were comfortable. I really appreciated the amount of pillows for each bed! I'm a pillow lover and never get enough at hotels!
Good price with full bathtubs..woo Hoo!
We stayed here one night on our way through town. We got in pretty late and the owner had sent us a text to get our ETA. She had to meet us there to check us in. We were starving and she let us buy some baked goods from the restaurant to take to our rooms since everything in town was closed. The restaurant is right next to the motel and run by the same family. We had a delicious, cheap breakfast there the next morning.
